Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda
Pick up by our guide and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Fly to Bwindi
Fly to the UNESCO Heritage site – Bwindi after breakfast you. Departure time is at 7:00am or 7:45 am arriving at the Kihihi Airstrip at 8:45 or 9:30 am. Later on, you will be transferred to your hotel near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Overnight Ride 4 a Woman.
Ride 4 a Woman Home stay facility was set up by the community in Bwindi to subsidise their incomes. Started as a rent for a bicycle program has since grown into facility with several projects to support the rural woman. Your Stay supports the community to live sustainable lives for generations and conserve for the future.
Day 3-4: Gorilla Tracking
Today is Gorilla trekking day. You will be transferred to the starting point for a briefing before embarking on the exciting this gorillas-wildebeest adventure.
Tracing the gorilla can take 2 to 7 hours. Remember Gorillas are in the wild which keep moving place to place. On day 4 you will track another group so that you completely have a full experience in gorilla land. However, trackers have been deployed to monitor their movements.
You will be allocated a group to track that day. Hiking can be strenuous but when you finally come face to face with the gentle giants, your aches disappear. Only one hour is allowed to stay with them. It is such an awesome experience to see them playing, grooming the young ones and feeding. Stay at Ride 4 Woman.
Day 5: Bwindi to Arusha
This morning you arise early to prepare to leave Bwindi to Entebbe and transferred to Arusha Tanzania for yet another explosive safari experience. Overnight in Arusha
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National park is home to tree climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive in the park. Return to your lodge. Stay at Twiga lodge and campsite
Day 7-8: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast today, you transfer to Serengeti known as the Big cat territory. Enjoy the game drives in search for the Big five. Stay at Kati Kati tented camp
Day 9-10: Ngorongoro Crater
Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation area for another exciting wildlife experience as you enjoy game drives out of Serengeti National park. On day 10 go for a game drive that will reward you with the sight of predators like Lions and grazers like Zebras. Interestingly elephant bulls are the common residents in the area. Female elephants live outside the area due to the presence of predators who may prey on their calves. Overnight at your lodge.
Leave the crater conservation area and transfer to Arusha.
Day 11: End of Tour
The gorillas and wildebeest wildlife experience has come to end today. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
