Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Kenya. Karibu
You will be met by our representative at the Airport. Transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day 2-4: Masai Mara
Today you travel to Masai Mara known for as the home to the big five animals. It is one place in Africa with varied wildlife. During you stay at Masai Mara, you proceed to the game tracks in search for the wild which will be rewarded with Lion, giraffe, buffalos and bird melodies on Day 2,3,4. Game drives will expose you to the real action- packed activities. On a lucky day you will see an impala fall in a lion or Leopard ambush or buffalos protecting their space from predators like Lions. Overnight at your Tented camp
Day 5: Travel to Lake Nakuru National Park
This morning after breakfast travel to lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy the scenic Rift valley as you approach Nakuru. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 6: Game drive
Game drive today rewards you with plentiful of wildlife. Lake Nakuru is home to the Pink Flamingos. Go for an early game drive as you leave the park. The animals sighted here include the zebra, leopard, waterbuck and Rhinos. Overnight in Tororo town.
Day 7: Source of the Nile at Jinja
The journey continues into Uganda. Jinja is the place to be for adventure spots and home to the genuine source of the River Nile that flows over 5000kms to Mediterranean Sea. Check in into your hotel and relax. Later on, in the afternoon you visit the spot the River Nile leaves the source-Lake Victoria.
Day 8: Primate Capital-Kibale Forest National Park
Kibale is home to over 1500 chimpanzees. It is the right place to track these playful creatures. Enjoy the scenery as you approach FortPortal town the Toro Kingdom capital. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 9: Chimps trekking
Venture into the forest today for another trekking activity. Get close to the chimpanzees in this tropical forest. Make sure your camera is standby to take photos. Overnight at your lodge
Day 10: Boat ride at Queen Elizabeth National Park
Check out your lodge after breakfast. Start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National park. Go for a scenic crater lake exploration. Later on, in the afternoon, go for a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel where you will spot yawning hippos, birds at the shores and elephants. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 11: Game Drive and transfer to Bwindi
Game drive through Ishasha plains as you head to Bwindi. Look out for the Tree climbing lions. Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 12: Gorilla trekking day
Early Morning, go for Gorilla tracking. This is a once in a life time experience to miss out. After briefing embark on the hiking trail to search for the endangered Mountain Gorilla. Later on, in the afternoon, Visit the Batwa community the original inhabitants of Bwindi. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 13: Transfer to Mbarara
Transfer to Lake Mburo in the morning. Continue to check in at your lodge.
Day 14: Lake Mburo game drive and boat cruise
Early game drive in Lake Mburo in search for Elands, Impalas, Zebras, Warthogs. Later go for a boat cruise giving a chance to spot Hippos, crocodiles, Fish eagles. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 15: End safari-Flight back home
Transfer back to Entebbe Airport for a flight back home after this exhilarating
Gorilla trekking and Masai Mara safari.
