Baluku Rabison

Trip Planner Assistant/Tour Guide

My name is Baluku Rabison, a tour guide from Kasese, Uganda, a town between Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Rwenzori Mountains.

Growing up surrounded by wildlife and watching safari vehicles pass by every day, I knew guiding was my call.

Supported by Compassion International, whose sponsors made my education possible, I dreamed of meeting one day and serving travelers like them.

At 14, my passion was so strong that I even tried to drive my Uncle’s cargo van repeatedly, which eventually convinced him to teach me how to drive.

Immediately after high school, I joined a tourism and hotel institution, which I attended for two years, and later went to Lake Bunyonyi where I started as a site guide. I then worked on boat tours, saved my tips to earn an official tourist driving license, and soon began leading safaris and gorilla trekking trips.

Today, I proudly share the beauty of Uganda with travelers from around the world, turning each journey into a memorable adventure filled with wildlife, culture, and storytelling.
